FASHION MELTDOWN.

that pretty much sums it up. i am SO confused.

i pride myself in fashion. its something i take comfort in. im good at. now. GONE. with one simple click of the mouse...

now "fashion verbatim" is a site worthy of my "Daily Reads" favorites folder online, but this article, entitled "So Over It" has completely confused me. please help me.

  1. What is the definition of "hipster fashion"?
  2. If i thought that Cory Kennedy has unique style, am i not a true fashionista?
  3. Does she mean she's "over" skinny jeans? Are skinny jeans out?
  4. Does this mean that Mary-Kate Olsen doesn't have valid style(because thats false)?
  5. DO I HAVE ANY MATTER OF STYLE AT ALL???

im starting to doubt my authority to even have a fashion blog...this is HORRIBLE

heyyyy, calm down.
judging by your previous posts, youre definitely qualified to have a fashion blog.

the thing about fashion/style, is its a personal choice.
to haul out a precious little cliche "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

and whoever says mk doesnt rock gets an ass-kicking from me.

Fashion Verbatim is just poking holes in all the of-the-moment trends. Plus, she's taking it a step further by mocking those who claim to be 'over' those very same trends. Ultimately, all it means is you should wear what you like and trust your self more than anything. And it looks like you already do that.

Personally, I never did like Cory Kennedy and haven't been able to stop laughing at the Cobrasnake since I ran into him in my neighborhood (he's so gross in person that I honestly wanted to take a shower after.) But I'm not going to like OR dislike Cory K. now based on the consensus of the fashion community.
