today, i went antique shopping with my mother for a book case...we ended up with a fabulous necklace for $2 and no book case, but i would much rather have the necklace anyway!

the shop owner told me it was from England circa 1950s-1960s

later i am going to watch Marilyn Monroe in How To Marry A Millionaire. i haven't watched it in awhile, and it is simply marvelous, dahhling. i reccomend.

if you use eyeliner, which is your favorite? i prefer CoverGirl's Outlast Smoothwear twist-up pencil in Smoke (dark grey). it stays on all day, doesn't smudge, and isn't too harsh or dark (i used to wear black, but grey is much better for a subtle day look. i use black now only for night.)

the pictures from yesterday were from a mock photoshoot in my room of me (the blonde short one) and my best friend (the tall dark haired one)

so i have spent the past hours searching through cory kennedy pictures and finding the highlights of my day:

A.P.C. SALE!!! im estatic with joy. no kidding, go there. apc.fr (i ordered plaid shorts $27, a beach-chic plaid tank $38, a shortsleeved orange cardigan $84, and a lion sweatshirt $60)

Wayfarers i had hoped for corykennedy-esque white ones, but the only white ones were from ebay, and they were real vintage Ray Ban, and i couldnt wait the 4 days left to bid... buy them here

off to bed...content with today's purchases...

now "fashion verbatim" is a site worthy of my "Daily Reads" favorites folder online, but this article, entitled "So Over It" has completely confused me. please help me.

1. What is the definition of "hipster fashion"?
2. If i thought that Cory Kennedy has unique style, am i not a true fashionista?

how to: take black ribbon, (i used velvet, but satin would work nicely), and tie in a small bow with long strands onto a bobby pin. voila! a chic solution to hair-in-the-eyes syndrome.

jessica & ashlee simpson were spotted this weekend at Superior's grill...sporting warm winter clothes and dodging tennagers' cameras...unfortunatly i had left my camera at home, but catherine and i had a little chat with them. i really detest ashlee

i cannot wait for christmas...the temptation to run into mother's closet and steal all my presents is really overwhelming! hehe
